Yet ANOTHER New Las Vegas Blog!

For some strange reason, people who know me think I actually know a lot about blogs and blogging. I guess that's because they know I use blog platforms (like Wordpress) to publish new niche sites and some forms of social media to get traffic to brand-new projects. But the reason I use those things is because I'm lazy. Without a doubt, using a ready-made blog platform like Wordpress and easy-to-manipulate social media traffic (from places like Facebook and Twitter) is the best "lazy way" to launch any new online endeavor.

But, the fact is, I really don't consider myself even a half-way decent blogger at all. I mean, just take a look at this blog you're reading right now. It freaking sucks, and people actually go out of their way to let me know that it sucks on a frequent basis. Besides having only halfway-readable and generally lousy content I have done literally no promotion (SEO, social media, etc.) at all for this blog.

Still, despite my warnings, a good friend of mine asked me to help him launch a new Las Vegas blog called "Vegas Volcano" the other day. I won't go into detail here about the idea behind it but let's just say it appealed to me in a big way. And I think it will appeal to a certain segment of the population as well. Plus my friend promised that he would publish a few of my less foul-mouthed Vegas rants on occasion. So I agreed to help him out.

So if you get a chance, head on over the Vegas Volcano and tell them the Pirate sent you. They'll know who you're talking about and give you a free lobster dinner or two...
